Alliance for CHOICE first lived as a Nonprofit Corporation from 2001 – 2006, committed to the vision of encouraging middle and low-income families, and empowering them to send their children to the private school of their choice.
Alliance for CHOICE is breathing again, as a for-profit venture, with the same long-term goal, and added activities focused on providing a fresh flow of funds to private schools, starting in Portland, Oregon.
The first pilot program, launching Fall 2010, is a unique fundraising program for select Christian Schools in the greater Portland area. Participant schools will be selected within the next few weeks.
In these days of economic turmoil, some schools have closed their doors, and others have been forced to make significant cutbacks. Yet the crying need in our culture for the positive impact of the quality education provided through Private Schools is unabated.
